Oasis Chip
Incorporating the Royce Thompson patented 'state machine' and 'synchronous switching', giving a greater accuracy under variable temperature conditions.
The Oasis 2000 RF unit can be mounted in a standard MA socket for on/off control of magnetic ballasts. The conduit-mounted version is used to connect to dimmable electronic ballasts. Both versions detect fault conditions such as lamp failure, power-factor deviation, lamp cycling etc and reports back to the user via an RF link.
A street-level unit called a 'cluster controller' operates autonomously, scanning the network for faults and modifying the dimming levels according to timetables that have been downloaded from a central control computer.
High-level supervisory software providing available in a state-of-the-art monitoring and control system for street lighting.
